    Target description:
    ATS #539 tissue-mimicking phantom; c = 1450 m/s. Background scatter, wires, anechoic cysts (8, 6, 4, 3, and 2 mm), and 15-mm graduated scattering cysts.

    Aberration:
    None.

    Data format:
    64x64x5002 array of 16-bit signed integers, big endian, no header; "fast" dimension is time (5002), then receive element number (64), then transmit element number (64).

    Temporal sampling:
    25 MHz rate (transducer center frequency 2.6 MHz); first sample at 0 µs; 200x averaging.

    Spatial sampling:
    315 µm pitch.

    Recommended pre-processing:
    Band-pass filter in time; dip filter in space-time; correct 64-signal monostatic subset by scaling and time-shifting. MATLAB code: ats.m, uses data file bpf2.mat.

    Target description:

    Recommended pre-processing:

    Correct 64-signal monostatic subset by scaling and time-shifting; interpolate to 40 MHz. MATLAB code: mouseab.m.

    rabbit_ribs

    Target description:

    Aberration:
    2-cm-thick section of rabbit chest wall, oriented so the scan plane cuts across several ribs; 1-cm stand-off distance from transducer.

    Data format:

    Temporal sampling:
    25 MHz rate (transducer center frequency 2.6 MHz); first sample at 0 µs; 100x averaging.
